Windows for Daydreaming

Inspired by a conversation with Art Notes readers about the importance of daydreaming.

A collection of landscapes for the screens we spend too much time looking at that were chosen to bring a little more breathing room to your day.

As children, many of us knew how to daydream. We could spend long stretches of time watching clouds drift by or wondering what lay beyond the horizon. Somewhere along the way, life became busier, and those quiet moments grew harder to find. Yet daydreaming is more than a pleasant pastime. It nurtures creativity, helps us process memories, solve problems, and ease the mental clutter that so often fills our days. This collection is a gentle reminder that making space for our wandering thoughts still matters. May these landscapes offer a small window to pause, breathe, and rediscover the beauty of simply letting your mind drift.

About the Artwork

These landscapes began as original watercolor paintings inspired by places I've experienced and moments I've noticed.
